Drought Angels is a registered charity and work in our own right supporting farmers. We have no financial affiliation with any other organisation. Occasionally we join logistical forces with other aligned organisations to support a common goal on some projects. These will be listed on our website or Facebook page.

Thank you so much for your kind offer of support to our farmers.

As a charity working directly with farmers we have critical policies and procedures in place to protect the identity of our farmers and the integrity or our organisation.

Farmers are resiliant and proud people who often find it difficult to reach out and ask for assistance. We have developed a confidential and trusted relationship with our farmers; maintaining this reputation is our highest priority.  As a result, any contact with our farmers must be via Drought Angels staff or registered Angel Volunteers.

You are welcome to send a package for a family and include a note for them to respond if they wish, however it must be directed through Drought Angels for delivery.

Thank you for understanding – we hope this provides you with peace of mind.

We understand how difficult it can be to sit on the sidelines and watch a loved one suffer in the face of adversity.

If you have a family member or friend who is a primary producer facing financial hardship as a result of natural disaster, please feel free to give us a call to discuss your concerns.

If you are able, please encourage them to complete an application for assistance (you are welcome to sit with them and assist with the application if needed) https://www.droughtangels.org.au/get-support/assistance-application/

If they are unable to complete the online form, please encourage them to call us on 07 4662 7371 and speak with our Farmer Support Team who will be happy to assist them with a phone application.

All approved fundraiser will have been issued with a Letter of Authority.  The easiest way to check if a fundraiser is legitimate is to ask to see this letter.

All Angel FUNraisers will have completed our fundraising application for which a Letter of Authority is issued upon approval https://droughtangels.org.au/get-involved/become-an-angel-funraiser/

Many of our fundraisers have a Facebook Event – these will be featured on our Drought Angels Facebook Events Calendar.  The majority of our registered fundraisers are also included on our MEET OUR ANGEL FUNRAISERS page.

If a fundraising host is unable to provide you with a copy of their Letter of Authority, feel free to contact us to seek further confirmation of their activities https://droughtangels.org.au/contact-us/
